Happy New Year 2011
Greetingsfrom the Latin American House
The New Year has already begun and we are preparingfor an intense season full of new activities at our new house, in which we willofficially inaugurate in the coming weeks.
Ourlast reunion was on Sunday 19thDecember, where we farewell 2010 in the company of a lot of friends and had theopportunity to use the new house temporarily. There was a lot of excitement andjoy over the new house and we thank everyone for enjoying this space.
Muchremains to be done and there are two tasks that can bedefined as the largest of 2011. The first is the sound insulation near theneighbors. On this task the LatinAmerican House is working with theauthorities of the Community Center for its realization. So far there are fourdifferent projects with a variety of costsand effectiveness, which in the course of the nextfew weeks will be analyzed and isexpected to reach a finaldecision for implementation.
The second major task will be to rebuild our barbecue near the newlocation, not to mention also that we plan to build part ofthe green area near theplace, a floor with pergola roof in orderto enjoy the air andprotect against rain.
Our Sundayactivities begin this Sunday as follows:
· 9th January: Amigos de Cuba
· 16th January: Grupo Ibiray
· 23rd January: MemoriaViva Sydney
· 30th January: Grupo del FrenteAmplio
